Most Ransomware Attacks Occur When Security Staff Are Asleep, Study Finds

Recent studies show that most ransomware attacks in the past year happened during the early morning hours between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

I received this information from a friend, who commented, “You were right.” Unfortunately, I was.

I advocate for isolating white-collar endpoints outside business hours. This strategy reduces the attack surface by 76% (40-hour work week out of 168 hours weekly), and in practice, the reduction is even more significant, given the findings above.

The Goldilock #Firebreak solution offers automated isolation and air-gapping of the network and endpoints outside of operational hours, achieving a 76% reduction in cyber risks.

How does that sound?
